The slithering suspect had gotten stuck in a glue trap that had been left by a Ferry Farms home's former tenants in a storage area, bringing Deputy O.J. Martins to the scene around 6:50 p.m.

Realizing “It’s Now or Never,” Deputy Martens went to work to free Elvhiss. Approximately an hour later, Elvhiss was free of the trap, cleaned up and released back to the wild to hunt rodents.
